Camp Krem Lucchese Center

The Lucchese Center, the main building at Camp Krem, burned down during the 2020 Santa Cruz Mountain Fire.   The architect was asked to prepare design studies of the Lucchese Center using the same floor plan and roof design, and meet current fire and building codes.  In addition, the Camp asked for additional space for office administration that would be located on a new second floor  within the  building roof—this time with large dormers. Additional needs were for a larger food service kitchen. San Francisco Bay Area Modern or Critical Regionalsim would best describe the influences on this design.
