Broadway Terrace House, Oakland Hills, California

Photography by David Duncan Livingston

The 4 bedroom/3.5 bath house was designed for a semi-retired couple that has family that visits on a regular basis.

The residence is a "L" shaped plan that surrounds and embraces an existing knoll.  Terraces are constructed over and around the knoll and provide exterior outdoor spaces with terrific views.

The lower floors have stucco exteriors. The top floor is sheathed in stained resawn red cedar siding; windows and doors are powder-coated with a golden brown color.
