Berkeley Kitchen

Photography by David Duncan Livingston

A kitchen designed for a couple with one child and two cats named "Haystack" and "Tea-Cup"

"The green of the glass-fronted cabinets, the four-square paint detail on each drawer front, and the golden glow of the maple counters and backsplash turn the corner of this kitchen into a dramatic display area for crockery and art glass.

The four-square paint pattern of different color arrangements and different colored drawer pulls has prompted the Owner to describe her kitchen as 'Mondrian goes to the Circus'."
