The Montessori school is a new 2-story wood framed structure with one classroom on each floor.  The school will contain kindergarten thru second grade students.

The building appearance was designed to fit within an older Oakland residential neighborhood with houses constructed in the 1920's.  The first level is stucco and the second level is sheathed in wood shingles.

Another Montessori school building is planned for the adjacent site.  See the Renaissance School project for more information.
