Pershing Landscape

Oakland,   CA

The client wanted to remodel his backyard which had the lap pool already installed.  The upstairs balcony had to be replaced as well.

This side of the building had very strong sun exposure in addition.  the building also need an additional architectural jolt.  Terrific views of Downtown Oakland can be seen from the pool area.

The Architect proposed to construct  a new balcony with colored concrete columns which define corridor adjacent to the building. New colored concrete planters were constructed in and around the existing lap pool.  A new redwood and concrete spa enclosure was designed

The intent is grow vines up on the trellises.  Low palms will be placed in the planters beside the pool.
